How do you book an appointment??
Appointments can be made by calling us directly. Our front desk staff will gladly provide you with a day and time at your convenience.
How long is a treatment session?
Your initial assessments will take 45 minutes to an hour, as it includes a thorough analysed subjective and objective assessment followed by a treatment regime. Follow-up treatment sessions last 30-45 minutes however each individual’s treatments can vary – no one condition is exactly the same! The number of required sessions will be discussed with you at the end of your assessment however this may vary.
Will your Family/referring physician be updated about your treatments?
With your permission, an initial report will be sent to your doctor. During the course of your treatment, your practitioner will communicate with your doctor to make sure progress is made and outcomes are met.
How do I know if I need rehabilitation?
If you are experiencing pain, limited mobility, or difficulty performing daily activities, you may benefit from our services. Consulting our healthcare professionals can help determine if treatment is appropriate for your situation.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
During your first appointment, we will conduct a thorough evaluation, including a review of your medical history and a physical assessment of your condition. They will then develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
How many sessions will I need?

Do I need a referral from a doctor to see a therapist?
In many cases, you can see our team without a referral.. Check with your insurance provider and the therapy clinic to understand their policies.

How can I prepare for my appointment?

What can I do at home to complement my therapy?

Will my insurance cover therapy?
Most insurance plans provide coverage for physiotherapy, chiropractic care and osteopathy, but the extent of coverage can vary. It’s best to check with your insurance provider to understand your benefits and any potential out-of-pocket costs.
What if I do not have insurance?
Parkside Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre won’t turn a patient away for this reason!
If you do not have insurance, that’s okay. For patients who do not have insurance, we offer cash-based options due at the time of service.

What office policies should I be aware of?
If you cannot attend your appointment due to illness or another emergency, please notify our clinic at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
A non-refundable charge of 50 dollars will be applied to any missed appointments that have not been rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Please reschedule your appointment with our front desk if you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or are sick so that we can maintain a safe, healthy environment for our patients and staff.
